Before calling these endpoints, use a Geoscape Hub application with access to this API product. Authenticate with your Consumer Key in the Authorization header. See Authentication, Error Handling, Rate Limiting, and Attribution for shared integration guidance.
Get cadastre
Authentication: Use your Consumer Key in the
Authorizationheader.
Retrieve polygons for a cadastre PID. A single PID can have several polygon features.
A search with no matching parcels returns 404. Follow pagination links when available. See Finding Parcels.
Code
path Parameters
cadastrePidPersistent identifier for the cadastral feature for the life of the lot’s title.
query Parameters
additionalPropertiesRequest planningBundle with cadastre results. The property is omitted when planning data is unavailable. Requires paid-plan access. See Finding Parcels.
limitMaximum features per response. Defaults to 100 and accepts 1 to 1,000.
offsetNumber of matched features to skip. Use the returned links for pagination.
Headers
accept-crsResponse CRS as an angle-bracketed URI. Defaults to GDA94 (EPSG:4283). See CRS & GDA2020, OGC CRS negotiation, and quality values.

Find by parcel ID
Authentication: Use your Consumer Key in the
Authorizationheader.
Retrieve cadastre polygons using the jurisdiction parcel identifier, usually a lot and plan combination. Copy the parcelId format from the source data.
A search with no matching parcels returns 404. Follow pagination links when available. See Finding Parcels.
Code
query Parameters
parcelIdA direct lookup for the parcel in the associated state or territory land registry. This field generally represents a combination of lot and plan style information
additionalPropertiesRequest planningBundle with cadastre results. The property is omitted when planning data is unavailable. Requires paid-plan access. See Finding Parcels.
baseParcelFilter for base parcels with true, or non-base features with false. Omit to apply no base filter.

Find cadastres by identifier
Authentication: Use your Consumer Key in the
Authorizationheader.
Retrieve cadastre polygons using exactly one of addressId, propertyPid. Do not combine these identifier parameters. An optional radius searches around the centroid of the first matched polygon.
When using propertyPid without radius, baseParcel=false currently does not filter the results. Check properties.baseParcel and filter the returned features if you need only non-base parcels.
A search with no matching parcels returns 404. Follow pagination links when available. See Finding Parcels.
Code
query Parameters
addressIdGeoscape Address Identifier
propertyPidGeoscape Property ID
radiusSearch radius in metres, from 1 to 500. Omit for a point intersection or direct identifier lookup.
additionalPropertiesRequest planningBundle with cadastre results. The property is omitted when planning data is unavailable. Requires paid-plan access. See Finding Parcels.
baseParcelFilter for base parcels with true, or non-base features with false. Omit to apply no base filter. See Finding Parcels.

Find cadastres by point
Authentication: Use your Consumer Key in the
Authorizationheader.
Retrieve cadastre polygons that intersect a point. Supply radius to search the surrounding area instead.
A search with no matching parcels returns 404. Follow pagination links when available. See Finding Parcels.
Code
query Parameters
latitudeLatitude of the search point. Decimal degrees in the default GDA94 input CRS.
longitudeLongitude of the search point. Decimal degrees in the default GDA94 input CRS.
radiusSearch radius in metres, from 1 to 500. Omit for a point intersection or direct identifier lookup.

Find cadastres by bounding box
Authentication: Use your Consumer Key in the
Authorizationheader.
Retrieve cadastre polygons that intersect a bounding box. Send bbox as west, south, east, north. Keep the box within the published 1 km² limit and use at most five decimal places.
A search with no matching parcels returns 404. Follow pagination links when available. See Finding Parcels.
Code
query Parameters
bboxBounding box as west, south, east, north (longitude, latitude pairs). Use at most five decimal places and a box no larger than 1 km². See Finding Parcels.
