Attribution
Use this guide to find and preserve the legal attribution returned with Geoscape data.
Geoscape responses include an attribution value when the response contains licensed data. The text identifies the applicable Geoscape terms and data copyright information.
What to do with attribution
- Preserve the complete attribution text returned by the API.
- Display it wherever your application displays or distributes the returned data, subject to your product's licence terms.
- Do not truncate, rewrite, or remove the links in the notice.
- Treat the value as data: wording and links may vary by product and version.
